PNP-Express Entry
Almost all Canada’s provinces have a few programs connect to the federal Express Entry system. It’s a faster way for eligible skilled workers to gain permanent residence in the province which they intend to live in.
To qualify for this category, you must have received an Express Entry Profile Number and a Job Seeker Validation Code from the IRCC Express Entry system. This shows you meet the minimum criteria for one of IRCC’s Express Entry programs:
If nominated by the province you will receive a Provincial Nomination which is worth 600 CRS points. Having such a high score, you will definitely receive an ITA for permanent residency in Canada.
How does PNP work?
If you wish to apply under Express Entry system, in addition to meeting the general requirements, you must have an IRCC Express Entry Profile Number and a Job Seeker Validation Code that indicates you meet the eligibility criteria for one of the federal economic immigration programs subject to IRCC’s Express Entry system.
Each PNP has specific streams and subcategories, each with its own set of requirements that will need to be met in order to qualify to apply for permanent residence. As BC has the most diverse streams, we provide comprehensive information about this province’s Express Entry Program. Other provinces might have similar streams that are basically the same.
