The Yukon Business Nominee stream provides a pathway to permanent residence for individuals with business and entrepreneurial experience who are interested in owning and operating a business in the Yukon. 

Eligibility Requirements 

To be eligible for this stream, candidates must meet the following criterion.

  • Experience & business ownership: 

Candidates must prove that they have:

– Have at least 3 years of entrepreneurial or business management experience;
– Have at least 5 years work experience that is relevant to your business;

  • Net worth: 

– Have a net worth of at least $500,000 CAD. 
– Have a minimum of $300,000 in liquid assets.

  • Education: 

Have at least a high school education. If your business requires more education, you must also provide proof of these credentials.

  • Business proposal: 

You must submit a business proposal to establish a new business or purchase of an existing business in Yukon.

  • Ownership percentage: 

At least one-third (33.33%)

  • Investment: 

Invest minimum $300,000 in an eligible new business or to purchase and improve an existing business in NL.

  • Language requirement: 

Minimum of CLB 4 equivalent in English or French.
