Saskatchewan Investor Program
Saskatchewan is located in western Canada. Its largest city is Saskatoon and the state capital is Regina.
The province has a population of approximately 1,180,000 (2021) and over 35% live in rural areas, the highest in Canada. The other half of the province’s population lives in Saskatoon (about 330,000) and Regina (about 260,000).
Saskatchewan has the highest number of hours of sunshine in Canada. The great distance of this province from the open waters and its northern longitude has led to a dry climate with hot summers and very cold winters (less than -45 degrees even in the southern parts of the province).
The main economy of this province is based on machinery, transportation and industrial equipment and processing of food and agricultural products.
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program
Saskatchewan offers two immigration streams for investors.
The Entrepreneur Category is for foreign nationals who wish to obtain or partner in a business in Saskatchewan and be actively involved in managing it, while residing in Saskatchewan.
The Farm Owner and Operator Category is for foreign nationals who’d like to move to Saskatchewan and who have proven experience in farming and intend to invest in a farming operation.
